Three words, but they hit like a crack of light
in a place that’s been dark for years.

Not the polite kind of hearing,
not the nod‑along,
not the surface‑level noise people make
when they’re already drifting away.

This was different.
It felt like someone reached straight through the static
and touched the part of me
I thought was invisible.

Those words didn’t just land —
they stayed.
They carved themselves into the quiet places,
the ones where I’ve spent most of my life
feeling like a ghost in my own story.

And I’ll never forget them.
Because for once,
I wasn’t speaking into a void.
For once,
someone didn’t just hear my voice —
they heard me.

Even when I seem far away,
