When was the first time you really felt like a grown up (if ever)?
Contact Me
I think my first time was when the love slipped away—from the child I was to the young man I became.
When the laundry sat untouched.
When dinner no longer filled the air with warmth.
When the house stayed clean, but the comfort was gone.
And memories became just that—echoes of how things were,
before we grew up
and everything
just quietly disappeared.

A lovely reflection. Personally, and due to my profession, I like to think like a child. However, I know I became an adult when my uncle, who was like a father to me, died at the age of 13. Best regards 🌞
It’s ok
PK thanks for your kind words. Means a lot coming from you. Thanks again
Okay, this made me feel too much. It hurts in all the wrong places.
For me, I think when I had to wash my baby siblings clothes. It was the beginning. Winter holidays, help out around the house 😅
It’s one of those that just hit home
