Alone Me

What do you want to visit?

My mind doesn’t strike

—it bargains.
It trades in my oldest fears,

my sharpest failures.
Each time I climb,

it tugs me softly back into doubt.
The cruelest trick?
It never speaks as an adversary.
It speaks in my own voice—
and that’s why

~~ I surrender.

Hey thanks for reading. Your support mean a lot and I keep writing because of you.

so thank you. ❤️

  1. And that is the scary part, it doesn’t speak as an adversary. Do we know what we harbour inside? Memories have come up that I don’t recall living that part of life.
